Been an entirely tiring week, and I don't know why.
Just kept falling asleep during lectures, it's like yesterday once more. It's like I want to be awake and at least copy my notes neatly, but my eyelids just decide to shut out the world for that's all that it friggin' bothers abt. Despite my bestest of best wishes.
But still,
life's pretty chill. I guess it's just that the tests and exams are not getting to us yet. But they'll soon be. THANKS. Soon it'll be full-power all-power ONLY-power for A Levels. Mug. Mug. Mug. As if your life depends upon it. And it actually does.
I always think that,
in life,
it's the people around you, more than anything else, that influences you the most. That gives you the power to push on, a vision to work for, despite the worst circumstances.
So my concluding statement is that I'm glad to be in 203. ((=
Despite my much dreaded subject combination, well I'll take it as a challenge. And no challenge is something to sweat about with me around WAHAHA.
That bright little white dot is the moon.
The sky over Pasir Ris is totally WHACKED! picturesque today. With all those fluffy clouds that makes you feel like sinking your teeth into 'em. Rawrrr.
Anyways, am sincerely, seriously loving a brand new single by one of the best music bands of all-time.
One of the best MVs I've seen in quite a while. :)
In this farewell, There’s no blood, There’s no alibi.
‘Cause I’ve drawn regret, From the truth, Of a thousand lies.
So let mercy come, And wash away…
What I’ve Done.I’ll face myself,To cross out what I’ve become.Erase myself,And let go of what I’ve done.
It's poetry. I like it when people does poetry with rock, like Mayday, like Linkin Park.
I also used to think that rock music is all noise, shouting and swearing. But I figure that there's no music as full of raw life and energy as rock. For rock truly rocks. WOO! Unlike ballads, rock is unpolished. It's squeaky clean, or down-right dirrrty, however you like to think of it. It just boils down to a naked revelation of your fury, your anger, your voice wanting to be heard, your frustrations untold, and blah blah. Of cuz there are also softer aspects to rock, but I DO love it hard core. ((= I think rock is a celebration of life. In that no matter how sucky things may be, I can still rock on! RAWRRR!
Alright, and then I came across this totally SWAY article by my standards in TIMES the other day while researching for a review article.
The title so totally caught my attention, God vs. Science. And there you have Richard Dawkins. Officially one my most looked-up of modern thinkers.
COLLINS: My God is not improbable to me. He has no need of a creation story for himself or to be fine-tuned by something else. God is the answer to all of those "How must it have come to be" questions. DAWKINS: I think that's the mother and father of all cop-outs. It's an honest scientific quest to discover where this apparent improbability comes from. Now Dr. Collins says, "Well, God did it. And God needs no explanation because God is outside all this." Well, what an incredible evasion of the responsibility to explain. Scientists don't do that. Scientists say, "We're working on it. We're struggling to understand." http://www.time.com/time/magazine/article/0,9171,1555132-1,00.html
I do believe that there is a possibility for God. It just won't necessarily (suddenly I'm reminded or Mr. Hing...wahhh) be that kind of your typical all-loving, all-knowing, all-powerful, and a one and only God. It could be any God. Any God at all. But by subscribing to one particular religion in particular, we are just limiting our minds and putting barriers to knowledge.
WAHHH sleepy sleepy.
;rock YOU.
