omg life as a meridian student is truly exciting.
only last thursday,
after PE,
when i was gonna go eat,
i got stopped by some pregnant teacher. UTTERLY fierce and unbelievable
regarding my skirt,
etc.
she even got mil to measure how many fingers above my knee it is
was 6/7 i think, then mil told her one finger less =.=
but she was utterly outraged all the same
and insisted that shorts shouldn't b worn inside of skirts,
n that i see her with a GOWN tml
so i was like HSIAO (to myself)
cant you make it next week?
but she insisted,
and told me to give her my name n cls and CT so I did lorrrr
actually being stopped 4 attire is no big deal to me
but i was like so utterly irritated by her use of words lar
she was like saying in this really ultra you-see-le-you-dun-buey-song-den-you-not-human voice that it's utterly ugly from where she sit, and words like do you want to be labelled as cheap!? with utter short skirts and all.
well,
rather b inexpensive than nerdy =Pp
anyways,
point is.
i was UTTERLY.
i mean UTTERLY irritated by the C word she used.
who does she think she is to impose such a personal judgment on me man!
i took it as a personal attack, seriously.
i could understand her concern with my skirt length due to the system
but to go as far as to say someone is cheap,
i was determined that im so gonna reason with her tml.
and if her attitude is unsatisfactory i would so totally not let the matter rest cuz im qi daooooo
so i actually on my mp3 wanting to record our conversation lar
but turns out i didnt press the record button. =.=
cuz i was like,
if she make me feel irrespected as a person again tml, when i want to talk to her sensibly as a mature and thinking fellow human, first im going to bring this up to miss lai, and if miss lai refuse to do anything, i'll just put it online and make sure it spread far and wide online =Pp and let the whole world experience the mj experience aurally.

especially a high-tech and easily-irritable onebut in the end the tok was rather ok lor
so i could see where she was coming from
so i decided i shall just compromise a bit, lengthen my skirt a lil lil bit
my point is,
even if she's a teacher. so?
authority does not entitle her to disregard my deserved basic respect,
if not, any other student else as well.
anyways
i think it's all the ideas i've been absorbing into me.
individualism. personal empowerment.
nobody tells you what to do,
decision-making is decentralised down to the individual,
you're the master of your own destiny.
you dun just take orders from other people and live up to their expectations.
because this is yOUR life and it is all abt YOU.

i love the 21st century
i love globalisation
i love democratization of technology, information and finance
because it's making everyone equal, able to gain from the same tools and assimilate it in their own unique ways
competition drives improvement.
no competition, no moving forward. that's what i believe in.
i love the fact that im a modeern human
though i tend to grumble abt it a lot.
because i love the level of power, loudness of voice and amt. of reach even an individual is able to exericse now. thru the net. which is probably the closesest to an idea market situation...
