woo
just finished watching patch adams.
borrowed 3 movies from sch today
( i wanted to borrow road to perdition, runaway jury, if these walls could talk, les choir whateverr, pay it forward, etc, too...plus a dozen of other items)
wif,
pearlin, mildred n miss ang's card. LOL
jiu damn funny sia
we kept on teasing her abt her connection to mdm YAN today
muahaha
but seriously lar,
it's all for the fun & laughter.
meixin's like damn chio can.
as chio as....mdm ang.
oops did i just say that? =Pp
you know
after all the books i've been reading outside of curriculum, the issues i faced, the things i think abt, and etc.
the things they never teach you in sch...
they never taught you how to deal with growing up.
what to do wif things that goes on inside your head.
they tell you what happens physically when you're going thru puberty.
but no one ever told us it's gonna be that tough, even make you feel like breaking down, mentally and emotionally and psychologically
anything on your mind?
- consult a psychologist/ consultant aka someone who sees a typical teenager with raging hormones in front of you, who treats your every discomfort as some sort of disease and abnormal behaviour.
what's normal and healthy anyway?
the world is like so relative.
if you have the choice of being a normal person by everyone's standards, and sleep-walking through life because you're just so normal, plain and ordinary you don't think abt things that are within you or beyond you vs. a lunatic die-hard non-conformist who wants to wake up this world of indifference, to drill every last drop of hope/ of fulfilled dreams/ of wild fantasies come true, etc. from life. and do it all on your own.
what would you choose?
and then they just prepare you for university admission,
college and careers. and somehow it just struck to me that,
did they ever tell us what's the significance of doing this job/ that job?
well, ideas of what are the average salaries of this n that profession/ most promising and popular faculties are commonly prevalent....
but what does a doctor really do?
why do we REaLLY need doctors,
are doctors all about opening people up and taking a bit of this tissue/cutting away a lil bit of that organ only?
and lawyers, bankers, etc.
why are we doing all these 'things' that we do,
if we are doing all these just to be paid why does the world's government just take all the cash and distribute money to everyone, and everyone don't have to work.
erm, i mean i know the logic's quite hard to understand.
i'll work on a clearer way of explaining things after i read more and learn more. ((=
but that's my rudimentary idea...
i wish they really showed us the way the world works, its inner mechanisms, underlying connection and links.
jiu whateverrr lar
lazy blog too much
got work to do
idiot lar
but stilll
i decided that i shall work really hard, ultra hard.
cuz im smart. everyone's smart. our difference lies in our inner motivations, goals we wanna accomplish, our visions and will. that's what separates people apart, truly. and i believe i have what it takes to be the top of the top top top.
and if you want to do something really great,
you have to put in a billion times the effort of others.
so quit slacking oredi,
chen enjiao~~~~~~~~~~~
erm, well.
i don't need a god.
i believe in the inherent goodness of humanity.
if we weren't the humans that we are,
we wouldn't have survived to this day.
natural selection may have planted nasty and ugly things in us,
but with knowledge comes the power and ability to change things.
woo
jiu
i so want a double degree in economics + computer science man.
thinking of doing business without it?
think again.
you might as well try to sell your products to customers in america on a pushcart.
jiu
life's like a maze.
driven by the lure of the treasure at the end
i'll just keep going on,
woo!
muahaha finishtuesdays with morrie,
gonna move on to collapse: the rise and fall of societies? dunno eh
i love reading books of all genres,
well,
almost.
ha!
would so loveeeeeeeeeee to publish a book of my own some day =Pp
if my life were a movie
it'll be on the theme of courage despite fear, pride despite humiliation, perserverance despite struggles, hope despite desperation...etc.
of slackiness and having fun,
of an endless search for meaning and purpose and embracing the joy and pain of it all.
human spirit trumiphs all.
love always wins.
my faith is in myself, in this very life.
;rock YOU.
