Woo-lala. Slacked today sho totally.
And ate a lot. Been under loads of stress and feeling pretty messed up. But it all boils down to me lar. Hurhur. Cuz I simply feel so reluctant to start studying...
Been slacking forever for these few days. =X
Point is.
I am half-way through Angels and Demons.
Love it like dunno-what.
I love the conflict between Science and Religion.
I love symbolism. I love murders (in stories). I love conspiracy theories. I love the way everything is so... Believable, full of scientific reason and logic. =D
I love subatomic Physics.
Quantum Physics.
I believe in an exquisite, intricate, wonderful design in all things.
Almost divine.
I would believe in religion. If I COULD.
I stand-by a statement from Mr. Lee that was really imprinted on me ever since I heard it.
That it's alright to have your own opinions and realise that others have different ones.
Things start to go wrong ONLY when you try to FORCE yours over others;
It's alright to feel PROUD of your race. But not when you start killing others to prove that you are superior.
He's one of the very few older figures whom I do respect and believe that he commands wisdom lar.
Most of the time I just look at an adult and I think: Bullshit.
They think they know everything. But that very thought is what makes them ignorant.
My favourite part of all those English lessons back in Upper Sec was really when he would go on telling us all this thought-provoking stuff. Philosophical. Political. I like the way ideas flowed freely and seamlessly out of this man. ((=
He's the first teacher to get me thinking, REALLY thinking. During a lesson.
I haven't find any figure of wisdom at MJ so far.
Thoughtful and insightful, maybe.
But nothing more.
I think wisdom is something that extends beyond your daily lives, beyond knowing all your facts and figures for instance. It has to do with something inannate, an appreciation for the world and the order of all things, and perceiving all the chaos in it, and being open to suggestions; reason and emotions, feelings and logic combined.
Well, the other day at the cinema. I mean yesterday...
Bunch of us were going "AAH!!!" inside the cinema when we saw the trailer for Pirates 2 and The Da Vinci Code. I'm SO GONNA watch all this + X-MEN 3!!!!!
I don't care I simply MUST be watching it with people.
And I won't be able to tahan the idea of anyone not wanting to watch...
It's like; HELLO!?!?!?... Look what we're talking about here. GREATEST blockbuster hits ever. And Enjiao loves them like DUNNO-WHAT. =D
And you know what?
Keira Knightley.
Johny Depp.
And Tom Hanks rocks.
Actually couple of weeks ago I was just watching Domino on my comp by Keira Knightley.
I REALLY like the way the movie was filmed. ;) ;) ;)
Ah.
I REALLY love movies.
I LIVE for movies.
But no horror/ love comedies please. Oh-no-no.
The ticket is not cheap.
And such genre of movies are a disgrace to the BIG SCREEN to me.
You have the BIGGEST screen you can possible get.
A gorgeous sound system.
And it should be used to show ACTION. DRAMA. Blood and gore. Wars. Violence. Destruction. Love in the midst of countries falling apart, for instance. Classics. Reminiscence. Desperation. and etc.
I hate watching everyday life sort of movies on screen.....
Cuz my sole purpose of watching movies is to:
GET THE HELL AWAY from the real world, as far as possible.
Aah.
Music.
Movies.
Books.
Rock my world like dunno-what... =))
Aargh.
I would love to get started on a couple of videogames. Seriously. TOO.
Vampire...
And... KINGDOM HEARTS II!!! :(
Even Final Fantasy XII is coming out... Aargh.

Aargh.
I could do with MORE TIME in my life.
I could do with LONGER WEEKENDS in my life.
I could do with MORE SLEEP, more PRIVATE TIME for self-indulgence, MORE TIME to eat and hang-out with people.
I want to eat at Long John with people until 6 everyday.
Then go home and start playing a videogame until 8.
Do some decent work.
And 2 hours before sleep I read.
And then I get 10+ hours of sleep. >.<
